Colombia Agriculture Issues: Straight Talk About Business

I write about the things I see.

Sometimes that means agriculture.

Sometimes it's business.

Sometimes it's Colombia.

Sometimes it's international trade.

And sometimes it's about something that makes absolutely no sense and needs to be called out.

My perspective comes from years of experience in business, manufacturing, importing and exporting, combined with living and working in Colombia.

I'm not interested in writing what sounds good.

I'm interested in asking questions.

Why are Colombian farmers still struggling when Colombia has some of the best agricultural land in the world?

Why are products being imported that Colombia could produce itself?

Why do we sometimes treat the people producing our food as if they're somehow less important than the people selling it?

And what can actually be done about it?

These articles are my attempt to have those conversations.

No corporate public-relations department.

No polished political speeches.

Just observations, experience, logic, humor, and occasionally a healthy dose of New York attitude.
