Agriculture Technology and Farmers Connections

Without the Farmer, None of us eat.

This might be the subject I care about most.

I've spent years around agriculture and international produce markets, and one thing has become increasingly obvious to me:

We talk about food constantly.

We talk about prices.

We talk about supermarkets.

We talk about restaurants.

We talk about exports.

But we don't talk enough about the person who actually grew the food.

The farmer.

Colombia has thousands of producers with extraordinary land and extraordinary products. Yet many remain disconnected from the markets that could create better opportunities for them.

That's a problem.

My work in agricultural technology and international trade is focused on creating better connections between producers, buyers, investors, and markets.

The goal is simple:

Know who is producing. Know what they're producing. Know where it is coming from. And create a better path from the farm to the market.

Because agriculture isn't just an industry.

It's the foundation underneath every other industry.

And the people working the land deserve to be treated accordingly.
