Colombian Agriculture Entrepreneurship: Building International Connections

My story isn't a straight line.

I've experienced success. I've experienced failure.

I've built businesses, lost things, started again, and

learned lessons that no classroom could have taught me.

Those experiences changed the way I look at people, business, money, opportunity, and life.

Coming from New York gave me a certain mentality: move fast, ask questions, don't waste time, and don't

be afraid to tell someone when something doesn't make sense.

Living and working in different environments taught me something else: every place has its own way of

doing business, and if you want to succeed, you have to understand the people before you try to change

the system.

That's part of what brought me to Colombia.

I didn't come here simply to retire or enjoy the scenery.

I came here to build.

My focus today is agriculture, international trade, entrepreneurship, and creating connections between

Colombian producers and international markets.

I'm particularly interested in the people who are often overlooked—the farmers and campesinos who

actually produce the food that ends up on everyone's table.

Because without them, none of us are eating.

And that's something worth remembering.
